It was another fun day at the Koblerville youth center with our young friends from the Joeten Kiyu Public library summer reading program. We started out with an in class introduction and then gave a speech on what a DUKW is, where it came from and why. We also explained its relationship through WWII to Saipan and why its history is part of their history. They had a great time and asked us many questions but the biggest smiles and laughter came when we took them outside to get on Woody, their face's lit up as they were enjoying, playing with all the replica props on board. When we started her up they got so very excited and then We took them for a run arounf koblerville, it was a very enjoyish time for both them and us and very educational for us all.
